After living a lie for years, I received the gift of desperation and came clean to my husband and children that I had been hiding my addictions, that I was sick in withdrawal, and that I needed a doctor, a sponsor, and a recovery program.
My sobriety date is November 12, 2019 by the grace of God, who did for me what I could not do for myself.
